Vplug is a plugin that allows you to watch encrypted channels on ProgDVB, a software for watching and recording digital TV and radio. Vplug can decrypt some of the channels that use the VideoGuard, Conax, Irdeto, Viaccess, Mediaguard and BISS encryption systems. To install Vplug for ProgDVB, you need to follow these steps:
Download the latest version of Vplug from here or from other sources. The file name should be something like vPlug2.4.6.zip.
Extract the zip file to a folder on your computer. You should see a folder named vPlug2.4.6 with several files inside.
Copy the file vPlug.dll and paste it into the Plugins folder of your ProgDVB installation directory. For example, if you installed ProgDVB in C:\\Program Files\\ProgDVB, then you should paste vPlug.dll into C:\\Program Files\\ProgDVB\\Plugins.
Copy the file v_keys.db and paste it into the Modules folder of your ProgDVB installation directory. For example, if you installed ProgDVB in C:\\Program Files\\ProgDVB, then you should paste v_keys.db into C:\\Program Files\\ProgDVB\\Modules.
Run ProgDVB and go to Settings > Options > Modules. Check the box next to vPlug and click OK.
Restart ProgDVB and enjoy watching encrypted channels with Vplug.
Note: You may need to update the v_keys.db file regularly to keep up with the changes in the encryption keys. You can find updated files on various websites and forums dedicated to satellite TV hacking.
